During my Winter break, I went on a very much needed vacation with my family. We went on a cruise that traveled to the Bahamas, and I loved every second of it. Here is what I wore to the Bahamas!
Day 1: Boarding
I knew I wanted to look cute, but also be comfortable at the same time. I paired a graphic tee and my chunky Fila sneakers with a velvet print calf-length skirt from Forever 21. I had my Fjallraven backpack, which matched perfectly with my skirt, and I was ready to board.
Day 2: Freeport, Bahamas
In Freeport, I decided to walk around because it was cloudy outside. It was definitely a perfect day to enjoy a breeze. Oh, and by breeze, I mean a Bahama Breeze!
This day, I wore my striped flowy pants from American Eagle and white button-up halter top. I paired this with a pair of earrings I got in the jewelry shop on the ship and my white ankle strapped sandals from Steve Madden.
Day 3: Princess Cays
This was home for me because I truly felt like a princess at this port. I disembarked the ship, grabbed a chair to lay out on, and relaxed for the day.
For the day, I wore a turquoise one-piece swimsuit from Target, my oversized denim Levi shorts from Urban Outfitters, and a kimono from Amazon (Check out my summer obsessions post to purchase!). I also accessorized with my turquoise earrings from Forever 21 just to add a little style.
It was great to walk off the ship wearing the shorts, but incredibly hot on the island. I brought the kimono to use as a coverup because it’s light.
Day 4: Atlantis in Nassau, Bahamas
In Atlantis, I also went onto the beach. This outfit was a lot more easygoing since I was walking a bit to end up at the beach. We had to take a ferry from the port to get to Atlantis, and from then we walked our way over.
I wore my magenta two-piece swimsuit from Amazon (Can you tell I have an addiction?), a simple black dress, a black fanny pack from Forever 21, and a cover-up I purchased from a little store in Princess Cays.
If you have yet to go to the beaches in Atlantis, you must go! It is truly amazing, and the sand in the Cove is to die for.
Day 5: Debarkmentation
We had to wait in lines and walk around with our luggage, so I wanted to be comfortable and ready for the sunshine.
These were just a few outfits I wore mainly for walking around and traveling. I hope you enjoyed reading about what I wore to the Bahamas.
Hopefully, these gave you inspiration on what to wear for your next destination!
